The Ultimate Bagel
Ingredients
- 1 bagel cut in half
- 1 cup Original Cream Cheeze
- 1 tablespoon plant-based plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: sliced cucumber, red onion, capers, or rosemary leaves
Method
- Place the bagel halves on a baking sheet and toast them in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, plain yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
- Spread the fermented cream cheese mixture generously on each toasted bagel half.
- If desired, add your favorite toppings such as sliced cucumber, red onion, rosemary leaves or capers.
- Serve the bagels immediately and enjoy!
