The Ultimate Bagel

Ingredients

  • 1 bagel cut in half
  • 1 cup Original Cream Cheeze
  • 1 tablespoon plant-based plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sliced cucumber, red onion, capers, or rosemary leaves

Method

  1. Place the bagel halves on a baking sheet and toast them in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, plain yogurt, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread the fermented cream cheese mixture generously on each toasted bagel half.
  4. If desired, add your favorite toppings such as sliced cucumber, red onion, rosemary leaves or capers.
  5. Serve the bagels immediately and enjoy!
